Avant Properties was born from an Italian family heritage, with a passion for architecture, design, and community development. After selling over 1,000 units in Italy, we decided to pursue a new destination: the Dominican Republic. We arrived in 2001, drawn by its natural beauty, its people, and the enormous growth potential we saw in every corner of the country.
Since then, we haven’t just built buildings — we’ve contributed to the growth of areas like Bávaro, Punta Cana, and Las Terrenas, delivering projects that combine quality, functionality, and soul. Every development we undertake is born from a clear vision: to create spaces where people can live, work, grow, and dream.

I am Andrea Bonanni, an Italian economist, and the story of Avant Properties is deeply intertwined with my own. I arrived in the Dominican Republic as a child, accompanied by my father, a passionate real estate developer who had already made his mark in Italy with over a thousand units sold.
He saw in this country what many had yet to notice: a place full of opportunities, with a vibrant future waiting to be built. I grew up among blueprints, discussions about land, and ideas on how to create value beyond structures. That’s how I learned that building is not just about raising walls, but about creating spaces where people can live, grow, and thrive.
Today, at the helm of Avant Properties, I lead the second generation with the same vision, combining inherited experience with a modern, sustainable, and strategic approach. Our commitment remains unchanged: to develop projects that bring real value to the country and to the people who trust us.
